problem here is thays a deevide twixt them that bleeves competishun is good n cooperayshun aint n them that bleeves cooperayshun is jes as importunt as competishun. but them two thangs is different sides of the same coin. we need competishun so folks will push to be the bes possibull. this wurks well ifn we wonta sell thangs lack mouse traps n cds n movies n such.

but as we know, teachers dont hardly git paid a nuff to live a life that aint on the poverty level. magin ifn we wuz to give teachers the respeck they deserve (in dollars) fer preparin the nex generayshun of amurkins, fer cultivatin our gratest resorce, our children.

corse, ifn we had a single-payer system to share the burden we all have in needin medicull keer, our costs per persun woodnt be the highest in the worl fer a rank thats in the low 20s while leavin moren 40 million folks without no medicull insurants.
