Another migraine
Decreed confinement in bed —
Angry helplessness —
But when I realized the cause,
Anchovies, I slept deeply.
Poised on the slick edge
Of the steep migrainous slope,
I seek my balance,
Fighting the fierce gravity
Of painful oblivion.
Only this moment
Makes up all we have of life —
Our past made richer,
Our future much more hopeful,
By how well we live in it.

The project too vast
To complete in a mere day,
I hated to start,
So I said, “I’ll drive one nail,”
And in no time, it was done.
To catch the sunriseas ye kin planely see, thay wuz clouds but not much in the way of colors this mornin ...
You must brave dead black darkness
And wait patiently
Through morning’s civil twilight,
Hoping for clouds and colors.

Competing forces
Clashing over trivia
Bring down great empires
Through mere misunderstandings
Of words, intentions, beliefs.
