Cain't make no improvements on this. My granmaw, she used to sang an ol ballad called Lord Lovell and Lady Nancy. Lord L done goes off ta war, an it's Lady Nancy done goes and dies a-missin him. He comes back n digs up her grave, but she's still a-lyin thar dead.

Granmaw she said that song come over on the little wooden boats and waz somethin the mothers done sang to their boy childs to keep 'em from goin off to war.

Thanks fer putting James M. on the list. I thank if he gits nuff ground swell behind that song twill be a real protest anthem for a deservin artist.

Great Merle Haggart song, Buddy Don. This list looks pretty complete to me.
