Pain emanating?
Suffusing? Penetrating?
Half a head swollen
Like a balloon to bursting?
A sensation beyond words?
Curse?
Awakened by pain,
Dense throbbing of left temple,
Bulging of left eye,
Slowly nagging nausea:
Is this life's curse? Or life's cure?
